Federal Pell Grant
- Summer Session enrollment requirement
  - Subject to your enrollment intensity
    - Enrollment in less than 12 total Summer Session units will result in a pro-rated award
- Amount
  - Based on your FAFSA Student Aid Index number
  - Remaining percentage of the 150% annual award year usage
  - Remaining percentage of the 600% lifetime eligibility usage (LEU)
UCSD Summer Grant
- Summer Session enrollment requirement
  - 6+ combined session units
  - Changes in summer session units after initial aid offer may result in loss of aid
- Amount: $2,300
  - May be reduced by other summer grants / scholarships and/or cost of attendance
  - Limited funding subject to availability, enroll ASAP
- Requirements:
  - CA Resident
  - Eligible for University Grant In Aid funding during the academic year
  - Valid 2025-2026 FAFSA application with a Student Aid Index (SAI) less than 6656
Summer Grant for Cal Grant Recipients
- Summer Session enrollment requirement
  - 6+ combined session units
- Amount: $500
  - Limited funding subject to availability, enroll ASAP
- Requirement
  - Cal Grant recipient during the academic year

  - Subject to your grade level

    - A new credit check may be required for summer if one was executed during the academic year and has since expired
    - Summer Session PLUS Loan requires a separate parent application from the academic year application : “Award Range Request 2” Option

  - Continuing student
  - Demonstrated financial aid need based on the DREAM application
  - State grant and/or institutional need based aid offered during the year

  - 6+ combined session units
  - Changes in summer session units after initial aid offer may result in loss of aid
- Amount: $2,300
  - May be reduced by other summer grants / scholarships and/or cost of attendance

  - Non-Resident Fee Waiver recipient
  - Eligible for University Grant In Aid funding during the academic year
  - Valid 2025-2026 DREAM application with a Student Aid Index (SAI) less than 6656
